Centralising the management and organisation of spatial information, our software partner Mipela has developed X-Info Maps, which provide customised access to data for internal stakeholders and approved external users.

Since 2013, Mipela GeoSolutions’ product X-Info Maps has been available as an embedded component of MCGlobal Solutions’ Asset Management offering. This integration links geospatial data from your corporate Geographic Information System (GIS) to visualise and analyse information on a map, in a manner that cannot be achieved using traditional reporting.

This additional functionality allows location enablement of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) information and work order development, and the client’s ability to create and manage work orders spatially. The creation of new assets in an EAM or CMMS from existing GIS objects is also available.

The integration of the two products gives users a more accurate reflection of real-world circumstances to visualise trends, which allows organisations to streamline their asset management operations and make better business decisions.

The location enablement of CMMS information and work orders leverages clients’ investment in GIS and improves work planning and analysis while eliminating the need for data duplication.

Formats supported

Utilising an easy-to-navigate interface, X-Info Maps supports various file formats, including MapInfo TAB, Esri Shape, AutoCAD, JPEG, and ECW. Users can benefit from functionalities such as layer styling, attribute searching, hot-linked data, measuring tools, map layout, and printing.

User management

With a fully web-based administration system, X-Info Maps allows convenient data editing, uploading, and user management.

Additionally, users can mark up maps and share them with colleagues before printing them on company templates. Enhanced security features enable control over which layers are visible to specific users, ensuring data integrity remains intact.
