With a high volume of assets spread across six international sites and no formal asset management strategy in place, Devro faced a familiar but serious set of problems: inconsistent maintenance practices, limited visibility of asset health across the business, and growing pressure to keep pace with production schedules and customer commitments.
Without a common framework, improving performance at one site didn’t translate to others, and management had no reliable way to monitor or compare operational performance globally.
MCGlobal worked with Devro to design and implement a single, centralised CMMS solution rolled out across all six regional sites, with local language translation configured for each region, ensuring the system could be genuinely adopted by teams on the ground rather than simply installed and tolerated.
The implementation was structured to balance central governance with local ownership. MCGlobal hosted initial administrative training for the project manager and six global site managers at Devro’s head office in Scotland, establishing a common configuration, common processes, and a consistent standard across the business. Each regional site was then implemented by its local manager in their own language, supported throughout by the MCGlobal implementation and support team.
This approach meant Devro didn’t just get a system — they got a structured, governed, and globally consistent asset management framework that their own people could run and evolve.
