Voyages had implemented several EAM solutions previously but each has failed to deliver a solution to their problems.
Voyages needed a way to implement and roll-out a EAM solution that was easy to use, met statutory requirements for hotels and could provide management in the national head office a view into the daily operations of all hotels and resorts in the company portfolio.
A Maintenance Connection system was hosted in the MC Global Data Hub, this single database was setup to manage the maintenance of resorts across the country giving head office overall visibility of daily operations.
Because of the high hospitality turn-over rates, Voyages implemented a system that was easy to use, easy to learn and easy to update. The Service Requester would be used to input all maintenance requests into the system. With little to no training, the user-friendly system allowed new and existing staff to learn quickly and easily how to raise jobs at venues across the country.
To ensure statutory requirements for the hotels and resorts were met, work orders were setup and monitored to avoid backlogs and maintain the safety for staff and their guests.
